Essay: Rough Plan

Over the Easter holidays I have been mainly focusing on my Game however I have also been working on a rough plan for my essay. As I want to work out some sort of a plan for my essay before I go back to uni. As with this I can get a clear idea of what I should be doing with my essay.  Which would allow me to get my essay sorted and allow me enough time to check it over. As the last essay I done, felt like it was rushed and could have been done better. By getting this out of the way I can focus more on my game. However, this did not go to plan as I have lost my train of thought with the essay as I have been worrying more about my game than my essay. When really, I should have given the same amount of time for both over the half term. As I went over the lecture slides again to remind myself of the topics. Which I am still unsure of if I am planning my essay right and if I am writing about the right things

Although this is a little set back I still have a rough idea of which topic I am going with. As so far, I have narrowed it down to two topics Immersion and Narrative which I have a strong idea of areas I could talk about with some of the games I have chosen to write about. Talking about games I have chosen a few that I feel comfortable with writing about. One of them I am mainly keen on is Metro Exodus which I have recently played and enjoyed the game with an interesting story and immersive game play.

Overall looking back on this I feel like I could have done so much more with my plan, but I felt like that I wasn’t getting any ware with it. As it sort of didn’t make sense even though I have gone over the slides again. So, to improve from this I am going to ask Sharon for some help with the essay. as hopefully by going over these two topics again will hopefully get me in the mind set for writing the essay.
