Indie Game: Texture

With designing my level for my game it made me wonder how I could improve the look and aesthetics of my game. So far with my game I am only using basic colours for my materials for my level. This is alright as my game is only a prototype which is mainly focusing on the mechanics and game play than the aesthetics of the game. However I am going to look into this as it would be nice to learn more about materials and its settings. Just to see what you could do with the materials and the settings as I only have a rough understanding of how materials work. So I will look into this in case I might use it for my game or for future projects.

With researching into find tutorials I found a couple of useful ones however I found this the most useful as it goes over the variety of settings in the materials and explaining them. Which I found rather useful as it explains what the settings are and how they work.
