Indie Game: Door Asset Completion

With the idea of having a sliding door in my game I first started to work on the design of the door. So, I started off with experimenting with the design of the doors in the shape and design. As a main feature I am thinking of is a view port/window in the door but with this I have no idea of how I could make the window see through which I will look into with a bit of research such as a tutorial. But back to the design in hand with the door which I want to go with a simple design as my game is a prototype which its mainly focusing on the mechanics of it. So, I would like to make them highly detailed, but I could use that time to work on my game from its mechanics to its level design. So, I am going to focus on the mechanics first then the level design and if I have enough time the aesthetics with the assets design. But back to the door design with where I got with the design is that I created 4 variations of the door.

Now looking back at this I feel like I could have made more variations and done better with documenting my experimentation’s. As I feel like I could have made more variations in doors such as playing around with the shape of the doors as the main on I am focusing on I feel like I could go without the rounded corners as I feel like they don’t suit a sliding door.
