
With this workshop session we got to experiment with the Unreal engine which I have already played around with in my spare time this week. Just to get a hang of the software in controls and its tools. So that I can improve my efficiency with using the unreal engine, allowing me to be more confident with it and give me more time to experiment with the tools. Luckily with the unreal engine its very similar to unity in controls so it took me no time at all to get a hang of it. With experimenting we used the third person perspective as it allows me to get an idea of how unreal works and whats going on around the player.
To improve from this I will use the learning section of the unreal engine to get an idea of what tools are available, especially the content examples as it shows off all the tools I can use but also give me an idea of how they work and how I can make my own.
