From this painting I can see the different types of light and shadows. As from this painting I can tell the different types such as reflection and refraction of the church and bridge in the water. I can tell this painting has refraction as you can see the reflection and bridge in the river but its distorted by the ripples. With this painting I am finding it hard to find any more types of light effects. Whereas the shadows I can spot that this painting has Dynamic Occlusion on the church on the back of the tower and on the ridge of the roof.
With this second painting it has similar types of light to the first painting such as reflection, refraction and Dynamic Occlusion. However the difference with this painting is the colours its using which are yellow, orange and light blue giving you a sense of temperature in the painting.
