For this art test we have been tasked with creating a character of our choice, giving us free roam for our characters design. Which leaves me thinking what kind of character I could create as were usually used to be given a topic to base our work around. So, I am not use to having this much freedom with my work. As I find that with having a lot of freedom with my work I tend to lose track of time with my design. As I will come up with so many designs, making it difficult to choose one of those designs. So, my main idea for my character is sort of going for a sci-fi style sort of master chief from the Halo franchise as its one of my favourite video game characters.
So, with my characters design going to revolve around the style of sci-fi. Which I can start to play around with my own ideas for what my character is going to be and its style. As so far, my idea in mind for the character design is going to be either a robot, drone, mech, combat suit. As my main interests are in military technology such as tanks and weaponry. As I wonder what’s the future of armoured warfare with tanks. As it makes me wonder will tanks be replaced with mechs. So, I am going with a mech design for my character with a human look to it.
